We hopped on a boat with Havana Club rum and went on an adventure to Cuba along Amsterdam’s canals.
After a sunset sail accompanied by live music and “Cuba Libres”, we docked on the north side of Amsterdam and headed to a secret destination on foot. We arrived at the hidden Cuban cafe and learned a little more about how rum is made and about the Havana Club brand. Of course that included a rum tasting as well!
After that we continued the party with daiquiris and snacks before heading back across the water to reality. The short vacation was sadly over, but with a bottle of Havana Club Añejo rum in hand we stumbled back to our bicycles with a smile and the promise of future rum cocktails.
This little trip reminded me of my visit to El Museo del Ron Havana Club in Cuba in 2002. The best mojitos I have ever had!
